‘me’ Factor…
This blog post ideally should have been my first post, but as the proverb says “Better Late Than Never”, here I am with some ‘me’ factor.
While writing this post, I’m wondering where to start narrating my journey from, what are the points of my life – professional, personal, struggle’s, low’s, high’s, etc that I should talk about (because I don’t want to make it very long that you fall asleep before you even reach halfway
) and eventually how/why online marketing happened.
‘me’ bio
Okie … my full name is Abizer Nalwala – one of the lucky few to find a domain by my first name www.abizer.com
and that was by chance. I am 31 years old, married to my lovely wife for 3 years now & living in England, UK since the past 7 years. By qualification I am a computer engineer with a decade of international work experience. I am currently associated with a telecom company as a project manager in their software department. I have been blessed with a nice family and some really good friends for life.
‘me’ family
My wonderful parents struggled all their life and made a lot of sacrifices to give both children (my younger brother & me) proper education; … My younger brother, who supports me through all my high’s and low’s and is sacrificing his career to live in the same city/country as my parents do, so he can take care of them while I’m away; … My lovely sister-in-law who comes from a completely different background supports my brother and family while pursuing her degree in law; … My beautiful wife who patiently tolerates ‘me’ and also cooks various cuisines for me (since I am a foodie person
); … And it does not stop here, I have a bunch of really really good friends that have stood by my side through thick and thin …
What more blessing can I expect? However I should work for the rest
…

‘me’ weaponology
I believe everyone is blessed with something – be it family, friends, a lot of money, etc … the point I am trying to make is this …
… use this as a weapon. Every day, at least once, think of what you are blessed with (if you believe in God then thank God) … because in this life of competition, such adverse economic climate prevailing in most parts of the world, and other events happening around us, it’s very easy to forget what we are blessed with and people who are important to us while we keep running for something or the other … more money, better job, bigger house, etc. This reminder helps us “focus”, gives us the much required “positive” attitude to keep moving forward in spite of all difficulties and do things for the right reasons.
‘me’ here for
Financial freedom for my family & me. I am ambitious, so even though I am blessed, I need to work hard to realize my dreams – I think my family deserves more i.e. a life with less or no struggle, tour around the world, I want my brother to setup his own business … and the list goes on. Oh yeah – and did I mention I would also like to own a condo on the Caribbean Island and a Rolls Royce :-)
‘me’ struggle
I am buried under a good amount of debt (as I write this blog post in May 2010 due to unexpected circumstances) and don’t want to take a lifetime to settle this. As days, weeks & months pass by the debt increases because the inflow remains the same whereas outflow increases with time. So that’s a good reason to look for some secondary income to start with and then once its consistent I could possibly make it the primary income stream. But what’s it going to be? I had no clue a few weeks back.
Secondly, I always observe that people have goals in their life, a vision and are so passionate about it … use to always wonder why don’t I have a passion for anything? So I was searching for something that I would love doing, wanted to discover my passion & have my vision.
Thirdly, both my wife & me, want to live with our family, have a family business and spend the rest of my life together with them … And not only visit them once in few years as I do now.
Now my searches have come to an end since I have been hooked to Internet / Online Marketing. It’s not that as soon as I found some info on the internet or read a few articles about Internet / Online Marketing, I shouted ‘Eureka’, ‘Eureka’ & jumped out naked from the bath
… but after enrolling to a training system, joining Alex Jeffrey’s coaching module & having met some absolutely amazing people … I know what I “want” to do & am developing a “vision” as I learn more from the Guru’s, am started working towards it “passionately” & will finally allow me to run the business from anywhere in the world and all this by being an Online Entrepreneur – how kool is this!
‘me’ general characteristics (not exhaustive though!)
- Nothing is more important than family & friends.
- Very social person and hate to be alone unless I am working.
- Get along with people very well and friendship happens naturally to me.
- Patient & kool headed but a restless character.
- Though handle situations diplomatically, I am straight forward on many occasions.
- Like to watch comedy / light hearted movies and listen to music
- Am a foodie person, like Chinese, Thai, Indian, Continental & English food (& junk food as well) – Oh forgot that I mentioned that

‘me’ for my readers
This posts hopefully reveals some of “me” … I invite you to come and join my journey to being an Online Entrepreneur as I transform my life with the help and support of fellow internet marketers and my mentors. I will post all my learnings, experiences, success and failures so that I spread knowledge and help YOU, my readers, to grow as I do. So keep an eye on this space!
To our success …
Cheers,
Abizer

Abizer just read your blog story.
The best things in life are free, your family, friends, health, ect. Sometimes we tend to over look these blessings because they “are free”. You’re a great example as one who appreciates the better things in life.
All the best with your plans, hopes and dreams…

Hey Abizer,
Good post! You’re right. Better late than never. I loved your advice to use what we have, no matter what it is, as a weapon. Use whatever we have to our advantage. Really great advice! Thanks.

Hi Abizer,
What a fantasticc story. I know how you feel and like you I am building this business to give my family peace of mind and a secure income.
As I have said before elsewhere, all the people I have met through this course have the primary concern as their family. We are all building this for our families.
It is a great community which helps one another. I know that you will clear your debt, because you have already made a start on the problem. You have taken action and that will always get you results.
So work your plan brother and know that we are all here to help you when you need it.

Hi Hiro
Thanks for visiting my blog. Yeah, debt is very crippling and sometimes blocks our progress .. not so much due to lack of funds but I think more due to a blocked mindset during this phase. I’m sure many go through this phase and come out stronger
So here I am in the transition phase
.
I just responded to Nathan’s comment and mentioned that I’ve seen many others on this forum that get motivated by their family … good stuff. Lots of like minded people around having a similar goal. Love to be here and a wonderful community.
Thanks for offering your support, have not been around in the last week, but will be seeing me more often in the next few days.
We all are taking action and I’m sure we all together will reach our goals … hopefully soon.
To our success …
Cheers!

Abizer,
The part of this post that mentions “weaponology” is one of the best pieces of advice that you can give anyone.
I just mentioned that in my last post.
Whatever you need to use to motivate you, whether it’s God, your family or that new Phantom that you’re after, use it everyday to drive you forward.
Thanks for this post my friend, we are very similar and it’s our family that is our main driving force.
Reach new heights Abizer,
Nathan

Hey Nathan,
I think its very important for each of us to identify what motivates us and keeps us pushing forward. The main reason being, so many difficulties and obstacles we face while following and working towards our dreams / goals in life …
Yeah, I’ve seen yourself, me and many others on this forum that get motivated by their family … good stuff. Lots of like minded people around having a similar goal. Love to be here.
Thanks for visiting again.
Cheers!

Hey Abizer, debt can be crippling and mount up so quickly, but stay focused and soon you will be out of the red. Is that really the car you want? it’s stunning, keep picturing yourself driving around in it, imagine all the looks of envy, it will all be worth it, just keep following everything Alex is teaching us, speak soon, Sally

Hi Sally,
yeah, its really stressful and never really realised when it went out of hand. But I think that this wont be for long now
And as you suggested (a golden nugget) will keep picturing myself driving around the Roll Royce and imagining all the looks of envy … will definitely keep me motivated and focussed.
How are things coming along at your end ? have not been oil rig hopping a lot in the past few days since I have been hunting for a house close to workplace so that I can give more time to business and also have to start packing as I have found one now.
Cheers!
