Are you struggling to kick-start using Forums successfully and still searching for the right Forums?
Don’t lose hope and below is your chance to start and accelerate your website traffic using Forum Marketing whether you are new to internet marketing or would like to use Forums for any other niche.
Forums! We will discuss Forums as a traffic generation technique today!
Forums are a good way to start creating your internet presence as well. Most of the Forums are free to join and an excellent way to provide value and find useful information.
What are Forums?
Forums are communities of people who share common interests, careers and/or passions.
People come together on these forums to share their experiences, success or failure, help and guide other members of the community, ask questions and discuss various topics. Note: On these Forums we meet new people and develop relationships that perhaps turn into friendship and/or business partners.
There are forums for most of the things you can think of – like a motorbike forum, books forum, internet marketer’s forum, designer clothes forum, knitting forum, etc

How to find Forums in your niche?
There are loads of them; search for the term “directory of internet marketing forums” or “Top 50 internet marketing forums” or something similar and the search engines will come up with many websites that list these ‘Internet Marketing’ forums. However WarriorForum is definitely one of the best.
There might be some good and some stinking forums. You can check the number of members on that forums, number of threads being posted daily, number of people responding, the quality of the discussions, etc which will give you a fair idea of how good the Forum is.
How to get started in Forums?
If you are new to internet marketing you may think “what value can I possibly add on these forums when I am new to internet marketing and just started learning?” I’m sure most of us do. I will show you some simple techniques to start posting on Forums and adding value to your responses when you are a newbie and positioning yourself as a solution provider as well.
1. Check what is the problem or question of the user who posted the thread. If you can respond and deliver value go for it, but if you think you need to have know information then
a. Hop on to Google. Do a bit of a research, read a few websites / articles for the query you intend to respond to. Say if the question was regarding some automated twitter software called TwitterMagic (just made up the name!), then go to Google and type TwitterMagic, or TwitterMagic Review, or something similar and you will find a lot of information.
b. Or search other forums and get answers for the query you are looking to resolve.
Now get back to the forum and there you go – post your response – well done you have started posting and adding value by resolving a problem or answering a query.
2. If you are facing a genuine problem or searching for a resolution, by all means start a new thread, but make sure you don’t throw your URL’s etc in there. Be real.
3. Offer your opinion but take care that it does not offend anyone in the forum.
4. Review some products and provide review comments.
Please go through “Forum Marketing Part TWO” where I offer you a list of tips based on my experience that will boost your Forum Marketing and provide you a multi-fold result.
Forums are also effective when you are active and consistently adding value to the Forum. After you develop credibility on Forums and have developed a relationship you can reduce the time you spend on Forums and move on with other Internet Marketing Strategies.
Will publish the second part of this article where you will find some more cool information. If you think this article added value or you’d like some specific information, please leave your comments. Stay tuned and enjoy your day!
Cheers!

Hi, some great advice here and I have to say using article writting and submission is also a great way of generating traffic and is of course free. One article can go a long way if you submit it to lots of article sites. The most important thing is to keep at it and in time your efforts will be rewarded. Also I believe in using multiple ways of traffic generation all at the same time, a few visitors from here and a few from there all add up. Gordon

Hi Gordon
Thanks for stopping by my blog, appreciate your comments. as I mentioned to Allan in one of my comments good articles really go a long way and backlinks remain forever, as long as the article remains on the directory, better the article longer it stays. Having said that, article writing is a very time-consuming job but as you rightly mention the most imp thing is to keep at it and in time the effort will be rewarded.
Absolutely, articles is a good way to generate traffic but not the only way. We should be using other traffic generation strategies as well. What other traffice generation strategies are you focussing on currently?
Cheers!

I noticed that you don’t monetize your site very effectively.Try using a cpa network like this one. If you have quality content, that your users are willing to fill out a survey for, you can make quite a lot of money.
